Blazed through The Christie Affair, which was an unexpected delight. I tend to be wary when it comes to reimagining true events, but Nina de Gramont chose to narrate this tale of Agatha Christie’s 1926 disappearance from the perspective of her husband’s fictionalized mistress. The author plays with fiction, storytelling, and memory while telling a compelling story.
